Our Nominating Committee of three amazing Harvard parents are now actively looking for new PTA Board members.

Elections will be held at our PTA General Meeting in May!
** All roles must attend monthly board meetings (first Thursday of each month, 6:30-7:30PM), General PTA Meetings (usually September, January, May), and PTA events regularly.

4-year commitment
The president-elect is a 4-year commitment. Year 1 is shadowing the current president, Years 2-3 are as President, and Year 4 is as Continuity Advisor, advising the newly elected President.
The President presides at all membership and board meetings, works with all board members to help meet their goals and required duties, fosters an environment of open communication, and more.

The VP of Fundraising is responsible for raising funds for needed items, services, and programs. Major fundraising throughout the year includes Spirit Wear, the fall fundraising drive, and the Gala.

The VP of Communication ensures that your members, families, school community, and beyond know what your PTA is doing. This includes marketing the PTA and telling the PTA story, informing of events and meetings, and ensuring that the community is aware of the advocacy work of the PTA.

The VP of Community Building helps foster a sense of community between families and the school. Coordinating activities and subcommittees responsible for Playdates, Movie Nights, Celebrations Around the World, Teacher & Staff Appreciation, and more.

The VP of Membership & Volunteer Coordinator coordinates the Fall membership drive, and is the bridge between the volunteers you recruit and those who provide the volunteers' jobs. Also procures and delivers supplies to teachers throughout the year.

Responsible for coordinating activities and communicate with grade level teachers and class parent, ParentSquare and grade level social media accounts with upcoming news and events, coordinating Grade-Level Auction baskets, and help coordinate Grade-specific auction items for Auction Fundraiser Gala.
5th Grade Representative helps coordinates several end of year events.
