Our PTA Governance
Harvard Elementary PTA is governed by Bylaws, Standing Rules and Policies, which create the framework that allow our PTA to protect the rights of our members while still providing new and exciting opportunities for our students, educators and families.
Our Bylaws (and Standing Rules, if applicable) are updated or amended at least once every three years. They are made up of two parts and outline how our PTA functions, define our primary characteristics, and include all the governing details considered important to the rights and responsibilities of members.
Our Standing Rules contain details on the day-to-day operations of our PTA.

Additionally, we are governed by Texas PTA and National PTA Bylaws.
PTA General Meetings
Harvard Elementary PTA holds three general meetings for ALL parents and PTA members each school year. Minutes and the Slide Decks from these meetings can be found here.
PTA Board Meetings, for the executive board members, are held monthly during the school year.
