Elections will be held at our PTA General Meeting in May!
** All roles must attend monthly board meetings (first Thursday of each month, 6:30-7:30PM), General PTA Meetings (usually September, January, May), and PTA events regularly.

The President Elect role is a unique, hands-on leadership opportunity and the first step in a four-year journey of PTA leadership. Serving one year as President Elect, you’ll learn directly from the current President, gaining experience and insight to effectively lead the PTA during your upcoming two-year term as President, followed by one year as Continuity Advisor to support the next President.
In this role, you will:
Support and assist the President in all aspects of leading the PTA
Learn the inner workings of PTA leadership to prepare for your term as President
This is a perfect role for someone ready to grow as a leader, understand the full scope of PTA operations, and help further the mission of the association with confidence and vision.

You’ll lead initiatives that support essential programs, services, and resources—making a real impact on our school community. This role isn’t just about raising money; it’s about fueling the energy and excitement of the PTA.

Family and corporate fundraising efforts
The Gala Fundraiser Committee
Spirit Nights
As VP, you’ll make sure every fundraiser hits its financial goals while staying true to the PTA’s mission. Creativity, big ideas, and a passion for bringing people together are a must—get ready to inspire, lead, and make fundraising FUN!

The VP of Communications is the voice and storyteller of the PTA! You ensure that families, members, and the broader school community know what the PTA is doing, why it matters, and how they can get involved. Effective communication helps the PTA thrive, supports its mission, and keeps everyone connected and informed.
In this role, you will:
Manage communications on ParentSquare and social media
Oversee messaging and updates from grade-level representatives
Market the PTA and share its story
Inform the community about events, meetings, and programs
Highlight the PTA’s advocacy efforts at the school, local, state (Texas PTA), and national levels
Your work keeps the PTA visible, engaged, and impactful—creativity, clarity, and a knack for connecting with the community are key!

The VP of Membership & Volunteer Coordinator is the heartbeat of the PTA! This role ensures our community is growing, engaged, and energized—because a strong membership and active volunteers are the foundation for achieving the PTA’s mission: making every child’s potential a reality.
In this role, you will:
Recruit, welcome, and engage new and returning PTA members
Build and maintain a thriving volunteer network
Serve as the bridge between volunteers and the teams or programs that need their support
Serve as the liaison for teachers supply orders.

The VP of Community Building is the connector and cheerleader of the PTA! This role focuses on strengthening relationships between the school, families, staff, and the wider community, fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and collaborative environment for everyone.
In this role, you will:
Welcoming & Engagement: Ensure all students, families, and staff feel included—especially new families.
Event Planning: Plan and execute community-building events such as playdates, movie nights, the International Festival, Texans’ Tall Tales & Treats, Dads Club activities, and Teacher Appreciation events.
Volunteer Coordination: Share volunteer opportunities and coordinate volunteers for PTA activities.
Building Connections: Help parents connect with one another, with the PTA, and with the school community.
If you love bringing people together, creating memorable experiences, and making everyone feel like part of the school family, this role is for you!
