How to Run For Election if Your Name is Not on the Slate

• Email parliamentarian@harvardelementarypta.org if you plan to run for a position that is for re-election

• During the General Meeting, candidates will be given 2 minutes to speak to the membership regarding why they wish to run for a board position (including their qualifications)

• Registered Harvard PTA members will vote on the candidates during the meeting

• Who can run? Non-members may run for election, however, they will not be permitted to vote in the election

• Voting will be during our General Meeting

• Only dues-paid members of the Harvard PTA will be permitted to vote in the election. You must become a member by May 14.

COFFEE Contest! Harvard teachers and staff have a new coffee bar, courtesy of your Harvard Elementary PTA! To celebrate, we have a contest with prizes generously donated by Starbucks on Yale.

FAMILIES: To enter, find a FUN coffee mug that our Harvard teachers and staff will appreciate! Take a picture of the mug. Add a picture to the contest Facebook post, direct message to Harvard PTA instagram so we can post in our stories, or email to communication@harvardelementarypta.org. Drop off the coffee mug to the school (have your student bring it to their teacher or drop off to the front office).

TEACHERS: To enter, submit a pic of you enjoying the coffee bar at school!

Design our next Harvard dress-code approved t-shirt! Have students create a custom design for the front of a t-shirt. All designs must be original (submissions using copyrighted photos, images or slogans, will be disqualified).

Accepting donations of diapers, wipe, and gloves (open packages are ok!) to support Project One Day.
